My college roommate does auto AC stuff. Started in college putting in ARA aftermarket units, bought the Dallas ARA. A few years ago had some proprietary compressor parts made for Ford in China. Exclusive pattern for Ford. China factory knew. Next year at trade show saw the same parts for sale! Autozone idler and tensioners are usually his stuff now.
