I am asking for help with wire color and a good access point to connect a good relayed 12 volt signal to the hazard light circuit on my 79 TA for a new keyless entry system.

I am installing an aftermarket keyless door lock system and the system has the ability to signal lights at lock and unlock functions. I believe the only way to get lights front and rear to simultaneously flash on all four corners of the car is to tie into the hazard circuit. I figure the easiest way to get all lights with one signal is to tie into the hazard circuit. I am trying to locate the hazard circuit wire on the load side of the hazard switch exiting the steering column. Or, the load side of the hazard flasher at the fuse box. My schematic shows that it is a brown wire between the hazard flasher at the fuse box and the steering column and a brown wire to all signal lights on all four corners.

When accessing the connector terminal on the brown wire at the steering column with a test light shows 12 volts flashing when the hazard flasher circuit is on. However, accessing that wire with a good relayed 12 volt signal (full amperage with relay used) from the keyless brain box doesn't get me any signal to the lights.

At one point I took the hazard flasher out to access the load side terminal of the flasher and I could get good signal there to control all lights at all four corners of the car. However, now, I cant get that to work. All fuses are good and hazard circuit works fine.

I am not overly familiar with how the hazard system overrides all other circuits to the same lights, so any ideas of how to get lights at all four corners would be helpful.
