The AFB has over twice the fuel bowl volume by my estimate then a Q-jet does.
If I had to crank my motor for 10 to 15 seconds I would remove 4 if not all 8 plugs.

It was an example of how it can be for some, not all, so nothing to be afraid of or need to unscrew the spark plugs to start the engine (you are welcome to tell us how that would work).
