Yes it was the Police Chief's car for Chambersburg PA. It was in service for about 5 to 6 years. Thanks for the help decoding it, it matches what is installed on the car. I will PM Mike and ask for a clear copy of the 71 Special Equipment order sheet.

As already stated the car came with a YC code 455, a Police/Towing TH400, HD frame, HD Aircleaner and Radiator, HD Front and rear seats, rear window defogger, remote trunk release, and tinted glass all. The odd options to me for a Police car are the Custom Cushion steering wheel, 15" Delux wheel covers, and they ordered Carpeting. The odd thing is the carpet is laid over the full rubber floor mat that Police and Taxi's came with.

I cleaned off the 50 years of crude off the cowl trim plate, and I see it has a hand stamped "2" in front of the 11 11 Paint codes.

Has anyone seen a hand stamp on a trim tag before?
