As I have witnessed.big ci RAV in that 69 GTO dirt car came off turn 2on the inside and just ran away from those 454 Chevies! Don the driver was at turn 3 before those Chevies were half way down the straight. Of course chassis had to be right. Cam right. Small journal Pontiac 400 block Class was semi late 2bbl with 400 ci in limit. I did trade Jim a WW- IV block. Jim Miller who built the engine knew the chevies were 454s. Man was that a night to remember. Mopar guys when I was young saying Pontiacs dont run.
