Went through knee replacement surgery two years ago. My physical therapist had me taking pain meds BEFORE my appointments for the first six weeks so I would get used to doing my PT exercises. I had to walk 100 ft just after surgery; 600 feet before I could go home the next day. By my fifth day at home I wasn’t using my walker….until my wife sat it in front of me in while I was in the kitchen and gave me THAT look!
