Anyone have an idea of how those wheel cap locks mount? Looking at the pic I cant see how they mount or stay in place on the back of the wheel, unless they just press in & are held in by a lip or part of the metal in the back area of the center hole? Dont see any other hardware to mount/secure them.
If youre getting the repro caps at $75-100 for all 4, Im not sure they need an anti theft device, doubt anyone will steal the repro caps at a car show or in your garage. Might be worth asking jegs for more installation info. Also once you get the caps you will see they are somewhat hard to install because the clips are very firm and once installed its takes quite a bit of effort to remove them from the front. Just a heads up to help decide if they are really needed for repro caps on classic cars that are rarely left unattended.
