Rear main cap was cracked and had three divots in it like it was hit by a big punch? Turns out these divots line up with the flywheel bolt holes. Not sure why or how this would have been done, I’ve never had the flywheel off the car.

Awesome car, and sweet garage! I have a GN also. It's funny how a lot of us here are into similar stuff.

As for what I'd do? I'd entertain almost any drivetrain. I have both traditional Pontiac powered cars, and LS swapped Ponchos. They're both fun.

I'll say this, if you go with a stock 350 Pontiac to get it running, that's more than fine, but please don't try and convince yourself that it's plenty for the street, because it's not.
