I put (2) small fittings in the high spots of our oil plumbing to bleed off air pockets. I ran them thru .030" NOS jets and -3 hose; then tapped the top of the timing cover to let the expelled oil drip onto the chain. Otherwise the chain had no special oiling provisions.
We ran the same chain for several years, then Cloyes wanted it back to inspect. It was still within the dimensional tolerance of a new chain and they made it into a tradeshow display.
