GM tried to save a buck and bought the Hurst shifters, but not the Hurst Linkage they figured they could built this themselves, they did a design change in 67 and that setup is much nicer and fits better than the aftermarket universal stuff that is available, the problem is that 4 speed sales really slowed in 67 so it can be hard to find.
