With the exception of the 73, formula SD, all the rest needed significant work to be made into nice cars. Driver quality, I guess. But how long is the muffler tape going to stay on the rusted out muffler. Original survivor car? Ok , how does that explain the aftermarket sub-frame tie bars underneath. They all appeared to be legitimate SD cars, but the list of defects is a mile long on all of them. I think the money was about right on them. If you were paying a professional to properly restore any of them, there was no money to be made on them. If you could do all the work yourself, that's another story. Like allot of people say, and I agree, they all had "good bones".
The 61-63 SD cars were a totally different story. They were beautiful, fantastic cars. The hammer prices reflect that.
