I also have the NOCO GB40, it has worked well when I've jumped cars with it occasionally (our daily's are 4's and 6's). I got it primarily to have in my wife's car so as to not need to carry jumper cables. It's also been convenient when I've needed to jump my lawn tractor. I also bought one for my son who lives across the country. He was having issues and ended up replacing his battery, but it worked for him a number of times, including when his battery was 100% dead (he had to use the procedure to bypass the safety protocols because the voltage was too low for the battery to be detected).
