LOL this is definitely a rabbit hole you can get lost in.
I researched the same thing when reproducing the VIN sticker on my Judge. I had printed pictures of multiple examples from this forum, and found that there were some differences plant to plant as well from the US to Canada.
Among typewriter fonts, the shape of the numbers seemed to vary and it was hard to find one that "did it all", but I ended up with one very close to what I wanted from a website that collects versions and makes downloads available.
Once I found that font, I downloaded a file to my laptop and it became available for use in Word.
I'm out of town until Friday but when I get back I will get the name of the font and a link to it.
