What’s your hp goals for this 462?
The last set of out of the box KRE D ports I had flowed 260 or so before I ported them .
If you run enough lift and even a can of 232 at .050” you should make an easy 475 hp with the out of the box heads.
You did not mention what that price tag for the 6X reworked heads got your for intake air flow, but since Butler was going to port them I will say you would have been looking at that same 260 cfm, not that they could not be ported to more then 260, I am just going with average numbers here.
With the wait time you posted about I would opt for the KRE heads also.
When you get them you should strongly consider installing heli coils in the rocker stud holes and use some anti seize on all the other bolts that then should be carefully threaded into the head.
