I have a correct Pontiac in-dash tach in my 71 GTO however since reinstalling the engine, when the tach is connected the engine will crank but not start. It is apparently grounding the coil. It worked prior to pulling the engine so I am not sure what has happened in the interim.

Any recommendations on who could repair the tach or any ideas on whats causing this issue?
