“I'm having the same issue,installed tach without filter and with and still reads 3300 at idle inwhich is only 1200 on my original tach.Im using a mds red coil hooked up to negative side.Anyone got any ideas why?”
I don’t know, but here’s an update to my update!
The Pertronix in my LeMans was giving me issues, so I went back to breaker points on the LeMans also. Guess what-the tach now reads double just like it was on my GTO!
