May or may not help as this was on my 68 Firebird. I swapped out an oem type aftermarket rad, either 3 or 4 row, I can't remember, for the 2 row Cold Case. It made no difference in the operating temps of my engine. It seems my problems lie elsewhere. However the mounting brackets/flanges on the Cold Case rad moved the rad about 1/2" further away from the support core than the 'oem'. Not a real big problem.
