I might not be as old as many here, but my observations should count for something;
I never observed more than on kind of window crank handle as being originally used in second gen f-bodies;
They were always the ones with a clear knob - that clear knob would over time tend to turn yellow/gold.
I have seen ones with a more pronounced curve, or with solid coloured knobs - neither of which did I understand to be original to these vehicles.
