We've gone to streaming for everything. I pay about $80/month for high speed fiber internet, then the wife pays for any extra subscriptions she wants like NetFlix etc.
There are some down sides to streaming, you don't get a channel package like with a service like Direct TV. After what the wife pays for her "extras" we are still up around $120 a month so no great price advantage.
At my age I just want something that I understand how to make work
So, maybe stick with what you have now if you know where to find what you want.
