I'm stumped on finding a throttle cable/kickdown mount that will work with the clip style cables on an earlier intake. I thought I could use something off a '70//71-ish LeMans with a TH350 but can't find an example of how those were set up.
I need this style for the throttle:
On a bracket like this with a clip in for the kick down:
I'd change the throttle cable to an earlier style, but the attachment at the pedal is different in '74. People do this swap all the time. There's got to be an easier solution I'm missing.

Not sure if any of this will answer any questions you have, but here's a thread from when I swapped out a 2 barrel setup for a Quadrajet on my 73 Lemans:

My kickdown cable doesn't run through a the throttle bracket, and I was able to reuse the bracket from the 2 barrel setup. I did have to get a new universal throttle cable, which I found on the Jeg's website.
