I ran that exact setup on several diff engine combos and it was a baseline for all builds going forward from a certain timeframe, roughly starting in the 90s. Both iron and aluminum head builds.

I’m surprised your iron-headed engines didn’t like the usual 34-36 degrees. What compression?
