Current cost on the Cat 5 leafs is $1300.00 I should hopefully have my set in a couple weeks.

As mentioned de-arching works, but may cause the leaf to hyper-extend in bump if the de-arch is too great. Lowering leaf springs typically are done with alterations at the the spring eyes, shackle or front eye mount.

I have 3" drop leafs from hotchkis currently. They are a reverse eye in the rear and a mid eye in the front. I also believe the rear shackle is slightly shorter.

I went with 2" drop leafs in the cat 5 system. It'll be a reverse eye for both the front and rear and yes, you have the spherical bearing in both the front and rear spring eye.
