FWIW, I never inferred that i was trying to cheat death, because, "no one gets out of here alive" My main reason of diet changes, and adding supplements is to improve the quality of my current life, and extend my ability of being independent for as long as possible, along with decreasing chronic pain, and just be more health conscious. If I can keep doing my own work on my vehicles, and keep up my 125 YO farmhouse with 4 acres, I feel the effort is worth it.

Five years ago my hands and wrists along with my knees and back were a constant source of pain and were seriously hindering my ability to do my own work. At that time I started looking for ways to curb pain homeopathically, as opposed to pain meds. For 5 years I've been adding or subtracting natural elements to fine tune what I take to feel better. On a scale of 1-10 I feel like I'm at a solid 8 for pain relief. Added energy is a little bonus.

Anyway I just want to keep doing what I've always done and do as much of my own work and upkeep on my possession's as long as I can. No one does the work the same way that the owner does, and people that take pride in what they do is becoming more rare every day.

That's my reasoning to pay attention to what I do and try to minimize losing my ability to keep up with everything. I believe when the good Lord calls you home, that there isn't any way a mere mortal is going to affect that call. On his time, not mine.
