I can't comment on that particular model, but I can tell you that I recently paid $95 + shipping for what appeared to be a mostly complete (sans choke spring) 3300s, which turned out to be a bust, considering the amount of corrosion hidden here and there. It turned out to be unsuitable for my purposes.
The one I have coming in now (another 3300s) cost $175, and it looks clean-clean from the pics.
Jon can likely comment in more detail about what might make one core stand out above another to increase its value.
(FWIW, my 3300s is for a '63 with auto.)
