Any 200-4r that's going to be used behind a Pontiac 389,400, etc is going to need some hardened and or billet parts. Even at near factory torque levels, its just not going to live for long. I am running a 200-4r behind my 389 that made 400hp and 460tq on the engine dyno, and if mine hadn't been built to the level it is I would absolutely broken it by now. Mine is an Extreme Automatics level 2. All of this to say it's not worth just going through it like you're talking about without beefing it up a bit more. The guy who buys it from you probably won't be happy with you unless it's going with a stock v6 or 305. I think which one it is (ctf) etc doesn't really matter due to the improvements needed to make it live.
