A transmission rebuilt in someone’s garage is gonna be a hard sell no matter how nice a job you do on it with the help of your friend who’s a transmission guy.
I wouldn’t waste my time, sell it as a core transmission.
Seriously who’s gonna pay good money for it, enough to make it worth your while?
It’s hard enough to sell a newly built one that comes with a receipt from a reputable transmission shop.
