I was told by a tech at Richmond that the ratings have about a 20% fudge rating.I have been driving the 3.42 ST-10 which has a very low TQ rating in 2 diff 421 HO full size cars for many years with normal street tires and never broke one.If you want one to race than that stuff goes out the window.NASCAR years back used aI think a 2.64 high nickel gear and steel midplate ST-10.Hard to find.
