He really aint far off -- but I still see another 15 years or even 20 years before things really get to this point.... and he is correct - majority of the younger generation today wants nothing to do with old cars. No connection. Not wanting to deal with maintenance etc. And labor on repairs is ridiculous. Heck most 40-ish year olds I meet that are new to the hobby and can't do much work on their own are then blown away with the $150 to $225 an hour shop rates.
Then factor in that the majority of big cities is getting rid of parking everywhere you turn and there just is no space to have an extra car for the younger generation that typically lives in big cities due to employment opportunities there.
And here is where I totally agree with him - GO DRIVE YOUR CAR!!! Do burnouts. Race it. Enjoy it how is was truly built to be enjoyed!
