I think some concoctions have ruined engines. Some chemicals should not be mixed I guess.
That said, I know basic synthetic oil with some Lucas and Prolong will not hurt a thing. Done it for years and have never hurt a engine or worn out a engine in my life.
I run the Shaeffers straight up though.
