Black would be cool, but I think that color combination is pretty cool itself and cleaned up it looks pretty decent. Instead of the expense of a repaint, have you thought about having a detailer bring what's there back to life as far as it can be? It'll have some patina, but that's cool these days.

Yeah I like this idea, the current paint isn't too bad tbh and I do love the original patina look..
