With one of my cars when it ran right around 11.0 it worked best with a four hole tapered spacer. It slowed down with a square open spacer. Later on when the power increased and the car ran in the 10.7 range the square open spacer was faster that the tapered four hole. The gains and losses were around .05-.07. This was using a ported T2
Well, I have 2 of those polymer Racing spacers. A 1" tapered 4150 and a 2" 4500.
I am going to buy that 4150 in the video and try it both ways at the track.
See what happens. I kinda enjoy playing around with this stuff.
