Finally she answered the phone. What was the earth shaking question she needed answered that held up my application for 2 1/2 months? She needed to know the city and state and year I was married!! That was all. I told her and a month later my SS payment showed up in my bank account. Without making the personal contact, it would still be sitting on someones computer I guess. BTW, the On-line application did NOT ask any question about where I was married and when! Just damn happy when that little payment shows up now every month.

what a hassle. It asked me where we were married, had to ask Patti since it was 45 years ago. LOLOLOL.
I'm really happy with getting out of the 8-5 type job. I've been working, for the most part, since I was 8 with a Philadelphia Evening Bulletin newspaper route. I made very good money doing that too. I figured I owe it to myself to relax and do what I want, when I want.
