you mean like this ? there's nothing "wrong" with it. 8 Pontiacs with SD421 motors as high qualifiers starting the NASCAR Firecracker 250 in 1962 at Daytona, dominating the race throughout. With forged GM rods going 160-165mph for nearly 2 hours straight wide open, to the boards. Build the same engine today using the same parts it's capable of the same thing. You didn't heat treat your rods ?
