As the others stated, a R&P is not really the path to go down, a well setup RB front end will perform equally well.
The biggest hurdles of the early A Body is, as another member said, getting more positive Caster in the steering.
For a daily driver with some good fun the targets are:
Alignment Specs
Camber: 0 to -1 degree
Caster: 4 to 6 degrees
Toe: 1/16” to 1/8” toe in
Moving to a Taller Spindle and upper control arms is the first step to this.
