Almost 7 percent less effort to steer it.
Not a lot but better than nothing.
The original steering wheel is 16” so I guess they figured that was the right size.
My old VW buses have 17-1/2” steering wheels, which is needed because they’re all manual steering. With a full load (1800 pounds) and the driver sitting right on top of the front wheels you need the leverage.
Adding a little more air pressure in the front tires would help some.
