I am constantly and continually amazed by how much information is on Larry's website. My V8 emblems appear to match the ones Ames offers, being open-8 with the white lip. I don't want to remove them from the car right now to get them replated, so some gold leaf paint will be just the ticket. I will also try my hand at applying the white border - if my hand proves unsteady, I'll compensate with a liberal use of masking tape. We'll see how it goes!
