2-cell 7.4V
3-cell 11.1V
4-cell 14.8V
My 130A alternator typically shows 14.4V. Sounds safe to get a good charge.
Seems a full-charge is being avoided, so perhaps these Lead-acid car replacements are over-designed to get ( compensate ) the charge capacity.
