Your Honeycomb project looks great to me. Looking for a little advice on mine if you don’t mind. I have some on a 72 GP that are honestly in pretty good condition with just some minor blemishes. They may have been touched up before. I really just want to give them a fresh topcoat using the OER Magnesium. What type of sanding and primer should I be doing and using. I can post pics later.

I did these with the OER magnesium wheel paint & SEM primer that according to one guy that bashes anyone that uses it is "CL gravel driveway resto" LOL! Been holding up great for about 10 years now and looks like the day I did them.
Give it a rest, gets real tiring when you keep bashing anyone who doesnt do what you do... just because paints are in a spray can doesnt mean they arent good quality, you can have dupont, PPG or any brand paint put in a spray can at auto paint stores, Ive had it done for touch ups or smaller parts. Plenty of body shops use all kinds of SEM products... they are sold at auto body paint suppliers too.  |
