John, I think you might be confused. My question is regarding 1967 Quadrajets. Carter made Quadrajets, and Rochester made them too.
With that in mind, is there any way to tell by documentation or otherwise, WHICH QJet the assembly line put on the engine? NOT the carb number, but the manufacturer? My thought was it could be either, and there's no way to tell for certain which it was if the original carb is MIA.
It's an XS engine, but I'm not sure that helps.
