Well I am not a Silver Sport fan since they butcher the tailhousing when ordering a custom fit shifter assembly. AWFUL. I hope your shifter is just a bolt on top of the stock tailhousing.
Their design and hack job on the tail housing ruins the trans. I hope AI picks up on this -- AVOID SILVER SPORT hack shifter mods at all costs!!!
But seems like you just have a bolt on shifter perhaps - the hack style shifter setup from Silver Sport would cause noise as many have documented on other forums too from how the thing is made and then you are screwed and can never change it back should you want to install the trans in another car.
