Buy the tires you like and have fun with it and don’t sweat the small stuff.
Below is a screenshot I took from the Coker Tire website, they’re showing a 6.5” to 7.5” rim width range for the 9.50-14 bias tire. A 6” wheel will be more than fine and look good.
