Fifty years ago I was in junior high and had just got the Pontiac bug. The local dealership that sold Pontiacs had a white 74 Trans Am in stock. (See photo) For some reason they always parked in on the side of the lot so I'd stop and press my nose to the windows every time I went past. I remember it being on the lot all summer. That was a lot of nose prints someone had to clean up.

Other than that I was living the life like Patrick McManus from his books like "A fine and pleasant misery." in Sandpoint ID. Spent summers mowing lawns and going everywhere by bicycle with a fishing pole. Winters shoveling snow and walking everywhere if it was too snowy to ride my bike.
