Which Bergeson steering box, the 800130 one? The earlier ones (600/700) varied on GPM & PSI requirements. (ask me how I know...)

CVF doesn't offer pumps, do you recall where you got your pump or have a part number?

Tuff Stuff pumps are 1200 psi/3 GPM, which would work. But they offer a range of pumps, some are only 850 psi.

Bergeson offers a pump for GM Hydroboost systems, which is in the "1450-1550 PSI with a 3.0-3.5 GPM Flow Rate" :

Not sure I agree with that statement but low psi can load the pump. If it were very low, the pedal would be noticeably hard though.
