My 400 crank was .020 on the mains and .050" on the rods, as I was running 6.8" rods with BBC rod bearings. Survived 10 years of street/strip duty, the last 3 years on a 120 HP plate nitrous system. Ran into the mid-11s on spray at 110+ MPH.

The crank was fine when it came out 10+ years later. No worries about cast crank strength for me.
