My ‘55 still is in the upholstery shop, and when they removed the carpet, the rubber on the gas pedal pretty much fell apart. I found a nice one on Facebook, and it was waiting for me when I got home last night. Looks like it will clean up almost perfect, except for minor scuffing. It always amazes me when fellow Pontiac owners go out of their way to give great prices, or even give stuff away to fellow enthusiasts to dig up parts they need. |
I hope your future is bright after your prostate surgery. My Dad is 86, he went the radiation and hormone route and has had quite a bit of trouble with his colon and other issues. I’m thinking he would have decided to go the same route as you if he had to do it all over again. Best wishes.
