I did mine on a home laser printer. I started by creating a MSWord document with the information filled in from a picture of an original decal on a similar 74 TA. This gave me the GVWR and other general information but I used my cars VIN and build date.

I used Courier New 11 as the font, but you can play around to see if something suits better.

I then printed this on blank paper and held it up to a window with the blank decal behind it to get the spacing and alignment correct. Once I had that all looking OK (took a few attempts) I taped the decal to a sheet of paper and ran it through the printer.
