Update on my first cool car
Messed around with her all winter got some rally wheels off of ebay, had to fix em' all up though as they had alot of surface rust..so I cleaned that all up and painted them also tracked down the beauty rings and center caps so the car has all period correct wheels on it now with the exception that the fronts are 14x6's and the rears are 15x7's you can barely tell they are different sizes, also since I had the oem shaker hood laying around and the shaker scoop (minus the base) I decided to ditch the original slightly rusty hood for the 74' Gto hood and scoop..I know it won't be "functional" and some will gringe that I've mocked it up to mount on the underside of the hood instead of the motor, but with my set-up of the torker 1 and edelbrock carb with adapter and spacer it wouldn't work anyhow. I've driven it so far about 400 plus miles and have nothing but good things to say about it..it does lope alittle which could be the cam spec. Which is kinda cool..man I wish I had the info from the original builder on what his plan was with this car or what he did to it, it's bothersome not knowing tbh
