So... off we went. 4 months later, after rebuilding the original alternator, water pump, & power steering pump, Plus having the original radiator re-cored she's back together. Also replaced a pretty worn timing chain. I tried to return it to as close to stock as I could. It was pretty much stock when I started. Just 56yrs & 99K miles of dirt & grim caked all over. Its not quite ready to fire yet, & I want my son-in-law here for an extra hand in case we encounter any issues. He's out of town for vacation until next week, then I have a 4 day weekend for the 4th, so it'll probably wait til after that. Hopefully she's back pounding the pavement soon! The last picture is what the engine bay looked like when it was for sale(Oct/24) & what it looks like now.
Nice job!
