I almost caveats my previous statement to say “except for tight parking situations”. I can see how that would be a problem in Europe with roads designed around horses. I think people swap a 3rd gen box in their early 2nd gen and notice the difference because it’s a direct AB comparison. But if it was born that way I don’t know that you would notice.

Again has anyone gotten into a 1988 IROC and say “man I can’t park this thing!”
Related but unrelated, my wife's C6 GS is horrendous in it's turn radius. My Firebird easily bests it in this regard. But again, the only time you actually notice it is in parking lots.
