I wasn't going to pull the starter for this. I decided to be happily lazy instead.
I loosened the tube and wrassled the sleeve down about an inch and a half before I gave up.
Close enough until it's not.
Hopefully the cable jacket will never melt through. If it does, I guess I'll pull the starter and do this right.
